We offer supporting programs and resources that provide enriching and equitable opportunities for each person to contribute professionally and personally.</p> <p>POSITION SUMMARY: The Sr. Manager, Perioperative Education Specialists will be responsible for developing and implementing a team of clinical nurses that will deliver a standardized clinical training pathway to support safe and effective adoption of our innovative solutions. The manager will serve as a player and a coach and will ensure that they and the team provide "best practices" from leading healthcare professionals/centers on Peri-Operative considerations for the associated procedures through the patient care continuum/pathway. The manager will also be responsible for developing the strategy (in collaboration with the commercial team) for prioritization of accounts and continued education. They will also develop a clear plan and strategy for Patient Journey mapping, launch excellence roadmap and follow-up education. The Sr Manager demonstrates a high level of people-leading skills, manages multiple direct reports and mentor's employees in the department. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION: Manage personal and professional development of the Perioperative Education Specialists Manage administrative responsibilities in a timely manner (CRM, compliance training and other modules, expense reporting, etc.) Adhere to Ethics and Compliance wherever applicable Collaborate with clinical teams & HCPs to facilitate best practices implementation. Develop and lead a team that provides perioperative care education and provide program implementation support for AtriCure Procedures/Programs with a focus on patient care management Assess best practices from leading Hybrid accounts and develop best in class training guide for perioperative patient care. Create consistent training for hospital support staff to be delivered Nationally. Develop and disseminate clinical best practice resources for internal/external training and program development to include algorithms and protocols Identify leading influential experts in fields of electrophysiology and cardiac surgery to continuously update best practices and to create content. Build peer-to-peer relationships with KOLs | Cultivate in-depth relationships with key physicians and hospital personnel to support clinical education objectives Provide clinical and scientific information to respond to KOLs' clinical questions perioperative care when using AtriCure products Develop and deliver training courses to other regional clinicians, staff members and local sales team as it relates to patient perioperative care Works with internal personnel to ensure all documentation related to physician training is properly completed and submitted for the Company's internal records system. Regularly communicate information back to marketing and sales colleagues to help develop marketing materials and commercial strategy. Remain current with the latest scientific research and clinical data relevant to disease state, procedures & clinical care with a focus on patient care and patient throughput. Maintain expertise and knowledge in relation to Company products and procedures, as well as current literature, key clinical papers, and trends in the industry.
