<p>The City of Largo, FL seeks a strategic, data-driven public sector leader who can champion high-performance culture, lead enterprise-wide budget and performance initiatives, and align resources with organizational priorities to serve as their next Performance & Budget Director!</p> <p>Largo, Florida, is a vibrant city of approximately 83,000 residents located in the heart of Pinellas County. Known for its family-friendly neighborhoods, welcoming community, and forward-thinking local government, Largo offers the feel of a tight-knit town with the amenities of a metropolitan area.</p> <p>The City of Largo operates under a council-manager form of government, with a Mayor and six City Commission members. The City Manager oversees day-to-day operations and implements policy direction set by the Commission.</p> <p>The Office of Performance & Budget (OPB) provides citywide leadership in strategic planning, budgeting, performance management, procurement, intergovernmental relations, and sustainability. The new Performance & Budge Director will report directly to the Assistant City Manager.</p> <p>The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in local government budgeting, performance management, and strategic planning-ideally in a High-Performance Organization (HPO) environment.
