<p>Title: Adjunct Faculty - Electrical Technology</p> <p>Salary Range: na</p> <p>Contract Term Length: Not Applicable</p> <p>Standard Hours: NA</p> <p>Work Location: On-Site</p> <p>FLSA Status: Exempt</p> <p>College: Southcentral KY Community & Technical College</p> <p>Campus Location: SKY - Transpark Center</p> <p>Department: Advanced Manufacturing</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>Provide online, classroom and lab instruction in competencies for Electrical Technology classes including but not limited to Electric Motor Controls, Rotating Machinery, Transformers, Programmable Logic Circuits, and/or the National Electric Code.</p> <p>Job Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Instruction includes providing an understanding of electrical devices and various electrical circuits, applying the electric code to all types of installations, and teaching how various circuits and systems function. </li><li>These duties include the evaluation and supervision of students, working collaboratively with faculty and staff. </li><li>Organizes instruction in classrooms and laboratories as stated in our course outlines, learning objectives, competency assessments, and instructional materials such as textbooks, instruction sheets, and/or electronic resources available. </li><li>Develops course curriculum, course handouts, lectures, lab exercises, and presentations prior to scheduled course times. </li><li>Demonstrate current knowledge required by curriculum for the electrical industry including construction, maintenance, and industrial applications. </li><li>Work collaboratively with faculty and staff to provide education and supervision to students. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <p>Associate degree and related work experience.</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <p>Kentucky State Electrician License or Master Electrician License</p> <p>Additional Skills Requested:</p> <p>Employee Rights - Employee Polygraph Protection Act</p> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer - The Kentucky Community and Technical College System is an equal educational and employment opportunity institution.</p>
