Experienced Infusion Travel RNs will commit to a 13-week float assignment, 40 hours/week.</p> <p>As a Direct Hire Traveler Nurse, you will be responsible for coordinating total nursing care for patients, participates in patient and family teaching, and provides leadership by working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary approach in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. Provides comprehensive care for the life span of patients. Effectively delivers patient care through Nursing Process of Assessment, Planning, Intervention, Implementation and Evaluation.</p> <p>We are currently seeking a full-time chemotherapy and infusion nurse in our Wakefield, RI Cancer Center located in the hospital. Job responsibilities include chemotherapy administration, symptom management, patient education, phone triage and other direct care responsibilities. Must posses excellent IV skills, including central lines and ports. 1-3 years of oncology and IV experience, IV skills and chemo/bio certification required. Must work collaboratively as part of a team.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Graduate of an Accredited School or College of Nursing. </li><li>Chemo Certification required </li><li>Current RN licensure in State of Rhode Island </li><li>Current BLS Certification through the American Heart Association </li></ul> <p>Success Factors</p> <ul> <li>Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification preferred </li><li>Evidence of continuing education. </li><li>Strong commitment to the delivery of customer-focused quality care. </li><li>Excellent interpersonal, prioritization, organizational, and critical thinking skills. </li><li>Positive attitude to contribute to positive team spirit on the unit. </li></ul>
