<p>Position Summary</p> <p>Missouri Baptist University is looking to hire a part time Head Coach (Women's Flag Football) who has a vibrant Christian faith. The Head Coach will lead and oversee the assigned athletic program, recruiting, and then fostering a culture of excellence, sportsmanship, and personal development among student-athletes. This pivotal role requires a strategic leader with a passion for athletics, a commitment to student success, and the ability to inspire and mentor young athletes.</p> <p>Essential Responsibilities</p> <p>Coaching and Training</p> <ul> <li>Developing and implementing training programs. </li><li>Conducting practices and training sessions. </li><li>Analyzing athletes' performances and providing feedback. </li><li>Developing game strategies and playbooks. </li><li>Monitoring the physical and mental condition of athletes. </li></ul> <p>Recruitment</p> <ul> <li>Scouting and evaluating potential student-athletes. </li><li>Communicating with high school coaches and athletes. </li><li>Organizing and conducting campus visits for recruits. </li><li>Coordinating recruiting trips and attending high school games and tournaments. </li></ul> <p>Administration and Management</p> <ul> <li>Managing budgets and ensuring compliance with financial guidelines. </li><li>Scheduling games, practices, and travel arrangements. </li><li>Overseeing equipment and facilities. </li><li>Ensuring compliance with NAIA, conference, and institutional rules and regulations. </li><li>Maintaining records and statistics. </li></ul> <p>Mentorship and Student-Athlete Support</p> <ul> <li>Providing academic support and ensuring athletes maintain eligibility. </li><li>Offering personal and career advice. </li><li>Supporting athletes' overall well-being and development. </li></ul> <p>Public Relations and Community Engagement</p> <ul> <li>Representing the team and college at public events and functions. </li><li>Engaging with the media and promoting the program. </li><li>Participating in fundraising and alumni events. </li><li>Building relationships with fans, boosters, and the local community </li></ul> <p>Minimum Requirements</p> <p>Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university. Experience: Three (3) years of experience related to the above described duties.</p> <p>Preferred Education/Experience</p> <p>Master's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
