<p>Specific Job Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Lead, support, and train a manufacturing shift of approximately 20 to build subassemblies and final assemblies in a fast-paced production environment </li><li>Supervise teams operating in any or some of these areas - welding, machining, precision assembly, ISO/100 cleanroom operation, </li><li>Drive daily production execution to meet quality, safety, delivery and productivity targets among work groups </li><li>Partner with manufacturing engineering, production planning, quality, and supply chain to prioritize work and resolve production constraints </li><li>Ensure effective shift handoffs and communication across departments and work centers </li><li>Read, interpret, and follow engineering drawings, BOMs, work instructions and specifications to support manufacturing requirements </li><li>Anticipates, follows-up, and resolves problems with material shortages, equipment downtime, tooling issues, labor shortages, and production bottlenecks </li><li>Manages staffing, training, performance management and employee development initiatives </li><li>Maintain compliance with all safety, quality, cleanroom, SOP requirements </li><li>Manage staffing, training and performance evaluations to develop and improve staff </li><li>Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement </li></ul> <p>Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Working knowledge of SST welding (TIG, Orbital) machining, precision assembly, inventory management, and cleanroom manufacturing </li><li>Experienced in Lean Manufacturing, 8D, 5 Whys, Kaizen, or Lean Six Sigma problem solving methodologies </li><li>Ability to manage, lead, motivate, train, and assess performance of a team </li><li>Excellent time management, organizational, and problem solving skills </li><li>Ability to pivot when business requires </li><li>Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and work cross-functionally to implement improvements </li><li>Experience in coaching employees and partnering with Human Resources on performance and employee relations issues </li><li>Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, quality management systems, blueprints, work instructions </li><li>Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables where only limited solutions exist. </li><li>Working knowledge of MS Office programs including word, excel, teams, outlook, ADP timekeeping systems, and Oracle Cloud programs or similar </li></ul> <p>Behavioral Attributes</p> <ul> <li>Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and decision-making skills </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills </li><li>Excellent teamwork and problem solving skills </li><li>Eagerness to learn and adapt to new techniques </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <ul> <li>Manufacturing setting with some exposure to noise, dust, and temperature variations </li><li>Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety glasses, gloves, and shoes </li><li>ISO9001 standards </li><li>Ability to sit, stand, walk, stoop and bend, climb stair ladders, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. </li><li>Frequent use of hands for handling tools, inspecting parts, operating machinery </li><li>Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity and ability to distinguish colors </li><li>Ability to read blueprints, gauges and measurement tools (with or without correction) </li><li>Hearing ability to sufficiently monitor equipment and communicate in a noisy environment </li></ul> <p>Experience, Education, Certifications</p> <ul> <li>5+ years leading manufacturing teams in the Semi-Conductor industry (or similar industry) or related work experience in manufacturing operations </li><li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and manufacturing work experience </li></ul> <p>For candidates based in California: ?the pay range for this position is $85,000 - 144,500 per year.</p> <p>Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure, and relevant education or training. The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs.
