<p>Apartment Valet Trash Pickup Person</p> <p>Job Summary:</p> <p>The Valet Trash Pickup Technician is responsible for collecting and disposing of residents' trash from designated areas in a multi-family apartment complex. The role requires adherence to a set schedule, proper waste handling, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Trash Collection: Walk door-to-door to collect bagged waste and recyclables from residents' designated bins. </li><li>Proper Disposal: Transport collected trash to the community's designated compactor, dumpster, or recycling area. </li><li>Compliance & Safety: Ensure all waste is disposed of properly according to company and local regulations. </li><li>Reporting: Notify management of any issues, such as broken bins, excessive trash, or property concerns. </li><li>Customer Interaction: Engage professionally with residents when necessary and provide courteous service. </li><li>Equipment Handling: Use required tools such as trash carts, gloves, and safety gear. </li><li>Adherence to Schedule: Follow a strict pickup schedule, usually in the evenings or early mornings. </li><li>Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the trash pickup areas clean and free of debris. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications & Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (walking, bending, carrying trash bags). </li><li>Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (if required). </li><li>Strong time management and ability to work independently. </li><li>Customer service skills and professional demeanor. </li><li>Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions. </li><li>Ability to follow instructions and company policies. </li></ul> <p>Work Schedule:</p> <ul> <li>Typically evenings (Sunday - Thursday), with occasional flexibility. </li><li>Part-time hours, often ranging from 10-20 hours per week. </li></ul> <p>Compensation & Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>$18-21/hr </li></ul> <p>BGSF is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
