<p>Junior-Mid Level Consultant(s): Minimum of two (2) years' experience supporting KM/KT projects through project management, client-facing work,</p> <p>material development, and/or facilitation responsibilities. This can include work performed under the leadership of a more senior Consultant.</p> <p>Job Title:</p> <p>Junior to Mid-Level Consultant - Knowledge Management / Knowledge Transfer (KM/KT)</p> <p>Location:</p> <p>Washington, D.C. / Remote (as applicable)</p> <p>Clearance Requirement:</p> <p>Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or other applicable security clearance.</p> <p>Position Overview:</p> <p>We are seeking Junior to Mid-Level Consultants with at least two (2) years of experience supporting Knowledge Management (KM) and Knowledge Transfer (KT) initiatives in the federal sector. The ideal candidate will support KM/KT engagements through project management assistance, client-facing interactions, development of deliverables, and facilitation activities. Work will often be performed under the guidance of more senior consultants but requires independent initiative and a collaborative mindset.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Support the planning, execution, and monitoring of Knowledge Management and Knowledge Transfer projects for federal clients.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist in the development of KM/KT materials, including process documentation, knowledge repositories, training materials, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and communication plans.</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in and support client-facing meetings, briefings, and workshops, ensuring clear and effective communication.</p> </li><li> <p>Facilitate or co-facilitate KM/KT sessions, interviews, and knowledge capture activities.</p> </li><li> <p>Track and report project progress, risks, and issues to internal and client stakeholders.</p> </li><li> <p>Conduct research and contribute to the development of strategic KM/KT recommendations.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement knowledge-sharing frameworks, tools, and processes.</p> </li><li> <p>Support change management efforts to promote adoption of KM/KT solutions.</p> </li></ul> <p>Basic Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Minimum of two (2) years of experience supporting KM/KT projects in a government or consulting environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with project coordination or management support in a client-facing setting.</p> </li><li> <p>Proven ability to develop professional materials, such as reports, decks, SOPs, and job aids.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong facilitation or co-facilitation skills; able to engage stakeholders effectively.</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and collaboration tools such as SharePoint, Teams, or Confluence.</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Experience working with federal agencies in a consulting role.</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of KM frameworks, methodologies, and best practices.</p> </li><li> <p>Exposure to change management principles.</p> </li><li> <p>Familiarity with knowledge capture and retention techniques.</p> </li><li> <p>Certification in Project Management (e.g., CAPM, PMP) or KM (e.g., CKM) is a plus but not required.</p> </li></ul> <p>Soft Skills:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</p> </li><li> <p>Attention to detail and commitment to quality.</p> </li><li> <p>Adaptability to changing client needs and priorities.</p> </li><li> <p>Professional demeanor and a customer-service orientation.</p> </li></ul> <p>Education:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Knowledge Management, Information Science, or a related field. </li></ul>
