<p>RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Provide 1:1 care to student with special health care needs or provide care to multiple students in a special education classroom setting </li><li>Ride bus with student before and after school when needed </li><li>Ensure student safety at all times </li><li>Assess and treat illness, manage chronic disease </li><li>Provide emergency care/assessment </li><li>Implement plan of care per individualized health care plans or emergency plan for students requiring nursing services on IEPs and 504s </li><li>Administer medications </li><li>Perform treatments or nursing procedures </li><li>Assist with ADLs and hygiene care </li><li>Work collaboratively with the school nurse/nursing administration, school staff, and health care providers/consultants to ensure high quality of care </li><li>Communicates and collaborates with parents regularly </li><li>Follows district policies and procedures </li><li>Maintains medical records and documents daily on student/s </li><li>Provide support and referral resources for children and their families </li><li>Any other responsibilities assigned by school nurse/nursing administration </li></ul> <p>REPORTS TO: Coordinator of Health Services</p> <p>This role is paid at the contracted hourly rate of $43.76.</p> <p>Applicants may apply by sending a resume and statement of interest to Daniel Cosgrove, Director of Human Resources, via email danielcosgrove@quincypublicschools.com.
