<p>Our Kforce client is seeking to hire a Senior Financial Reporting Accountant in Saint Louis, MO. The client offers great salary and benefits. This position is scheduled as hybrid 3 days in office/2 days WFH.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP or IFRS </li><li>Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies including SEC regulations </li><li>Analyze financial results and variances against budgets and forecast, providing insight for management decision making </li><li>Generate regular financial reports for internal and external leadership, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports </li><li>Assist in annual audit process by preparing the necessary documentation and coordinating with external auditors </li><li>Perform regular reconciliation of accounts and reviewing journal entries </li><li>Work closely with other departments such as tax, treasury, and internal control to ensure financial data </li><li>Stay updated on accounting standards, industry trends and regulatory changes that impact financial reporting* Bachelor's degree in accounting; MBA is a plus; CPA designation is preferred </li><li>2-5 years of experience in public account ting or insurance industry </li><li>Continuous learning with accounting systems and techniques </li><li>Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, accounting applications, and Peoplesoft is a plus </li><li>Excellent communication skills both written and verbal </li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills </li><li>Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills </li></ul>
