This role supports strategies to strengthen and expand initiatives to recruit, hire, retain and advance team members, with a specific focus to support increased recruiting efforts to build a diverse workforce. Duties include, but are not limited to; cold-calling, sourcing, pre-boarding transactions, and cultivation of candidates for positions across schools and departments.</p> <p>What DPS Offers You:</p> <ul> <li>A Culture that values Equity, Accountability, Integrity, Collaboration and Fun with a shared vision that Every Learner Thrives. </li><li>Salary Range - $68,488-82,139 Click here for more information on compensation for these roles. </li><li>In addition to competitive compensation, DPS has other Total Reward offerings such as; time off, health and wellness benefits, and PERA Retirement. </li></ul> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <ul> <li>Develops, organizes, and implements campus, community and diversity recruitment activities for local, state, national and international recruitment initiatives; coordinates and attends recruitment events (job fairs, open houses, conferences, and district sponsored events) </li><li>Identifies, recruits, sources, cold call passive candidates and cultivates talented candidates across schools and/or a variety of positions. </li><li>Determines salaries by assessing experience and education following established guidelines per DPS and/or bargaining unit. </li><li>Supports with pre boarding activities such as; new hire paperwork and offers letters </li><li>Validates qualifications, credentials, and licenses required of school-based hires; verifies that candidates meet minimum requirements; and confirms that all new hire documentation is completed and received </li><li>Collaborates with Human Resources Partners to monitor and meet client group recruitment objectives </li><li>Compiles and creates data reports and other forms of recruitment and retention statistics; assists in the creation of a variety of state of the art recruitment communications (e.g. banners, advertisements, brochures, web content) </li><li>Develops and nurtures relationships with customers, school principals, community constituents, and partners in Institutions of Higher Education; attends partnership meetings with Institutions of Higher Education, business, community and school partners and serves on school, community and business committees, councils and/or advisory groups </li><li>This role is responsible for ensuring the highest levels of data accuracy and integrity. The individual will be held accountable for all aspects of data handling, including entry, validation, correction, and reporting; which includes and is not limited to the following: </li><li>Data Entry and Verification: Accurately input and update data into various systems, conducting thorough reviews to ensure data is free from errors and inconsistencies. </li><li>Data Validation: Regularly perform checks and audits to verify the accuracy and consistency of data across different platforms and systems. </li><li>Error Identification and Correction: Proactively identify and correct any discrepancies, ensuring that all data is complete, reliable, and up-to-date. </li><li>Maintain Data Integrity: Ensure that all data entry follows organizational policies and standards, maintaining a high level of precision in all records. </li></ul> <p>What You'll Need:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma, BA preferred </li><li>3 or more years of related recruiting and onboarding experience preferred </li><li>Must have the ability to travel in and out of state for recruiting events and conferences </li><li>Lead for racial and educational excellence and work to dismantle systems of oppression and inequity in our community, along with believing in and supporting all students so they feel seen and heard with access to high quality education. </li><li>Live and work with a permanent home address in Colorado while working with us. </li><li>Have the ability with or without accommodations to meet the physical demands of the position. </li></ul> <p>Denver Public Schools is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, gender expression, and sexual orientation), parental status, national origin, age, disability, genetic information (including family medical history), political affiliation, military service, or any other status protected by law or regulations.
