<p>This position is located in the Audiology and Speech Pathology Services at the Salisbury VA Healthcare (SVAHCS). The incumbent is an independent practitioner with special clinic program and administrative responsibilities for the SVAHCS Tinnitus Management Program, under general direction of the Audiology and Speech Service Chief and/or Audiology supervisor.</p> <p>Major duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Provides full range of tinnitus clinical services including all levels of Progressive Tinnitus Management (PTM) stepped-care, individualized evaluation, management, support and subsequent follow-up services as needed using various modalities. Encourages Veterans to seek management of comorbid conditions and educates Veterans on VA services available, referring as required for Veterans to access needed care and/or alerting PCP when needed. </li><li>Develops services within SVAHCS using VA approved practices and procedures related to tinnitus. </li><li>Services as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for tinnitus for the SVAHCS Audiology and Speech Pathology Service. </li><li>Coaches and collaborates with audiologists to support program development and provision of full range of services consistent with model, across all sites of care. </li><li>Report tinnitus program activities, outcomes and needs to service leadership. </li></ul> <p>Work Schedule: Monday-Friday; 8:00am-4:30pm</p> <p>Compressed/Flexible:May be negotiated</p> <p>Telework: Not available</p> <p>Virtual: This is not a virtual position.</p> <p>Functional Statement #: 00000</p> <p>Relocation/Recruitment Incentives: Not authorized</p> <p>Permanent Change of Station (PCS): Not Authorized</p>
