Specializing in commercial roofing, siding, and exterior improvements, we're currently active in 48 states - and growing. We're looking for an experienced Commercial Roofing Estimator to join our team in-office at our corporate headquarters.</p> <p>No sales required - just your expertise.</p> <p>Must be willing to relocate to Middle Tennessee.</p> <p>Nashville is waiting!</p> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Prepare comprehensive and accurate bid proposals, including detailed breakdowns for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform project take-offs from architectural and construction drawings.</p> </li><li> <p>Generate timely cost estimates for both low-slope and steep-slope commercial roofing projects.</p> </li><li> <p>Prepare submittals for contract projects and assist with change orders as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with the sales team to evaluate opportunities and build clear scopes, budgets, and timelines.</p> </li><li> <p>Transition awarded bids to the Production team to ensure a smooth project handoff and launch.</p> </li><li> <p>Communicate with clients, vendors, and team members to gather necessary information and ensure project requirements are met.</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in pre-bid meetings and occasionally conduct site visits to support ongoing projects and enhance client relationships.</p> </li></ul> <p>What We're Looking For:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Minimum 3 years of commercial roofing estimating experience</p> </li><li> <p>Strong understanding of commercial and industrial roofing systems (TPO, EPDM, PVC, shingles, etc.)</p> </li><li> <p>Proficient in project take-offs and reading blueprints/specifications</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with Excel, On-Screen Takeoff, and Bid Estimating Software</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to prepare accurate project submittals and track change orders</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills</p> </li><li> <p>Valid driver's license in good standing</p> </li></ul> <p>What We Offer:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Competitive compensation - Full-time salaried position</p> </li><li> <p>401(k) with employer match</p> </li><li> <p>Health Insurance - Medical, Dental, Vision</p> </li><li> <p>Company-paid life insurance</p> </li><li> <p>Paid Time Off (PTO) and Holidays</p> </li><li> <p>Relocation package negotiable</p> </li><li> <p>Positive, family-oriented work environment</p> </li></ul> <p>If you're ready to bring your estimating expertise to a company that's building across the nation - and build your future in the heart of Tennessee - we want to hear from you.</p> <p>Apply today and take the next step in your career with JRC, Inc.</p>
