<p>GROUNDS & LIGHT MAINTENANCE</p> <p>Gorman & Company is looking for a part time Grounds & Light Maintenance Technician who is committed to providing first class groundskeeping and light maintenance services as part of a collaborative maintenance team in the Little Rock area. If you want to have fun, be valued, and make a difference, apply today!</p> <p>A day in the life of a Grounds and Light Maintenance Technician:</p> <ul> <li>Work with our maintenance team to perform grounds maintenance such as lawn services, maintaining shrubs and gardens, spraying insecticides and clean-up. </li><li>Outdoor building maintenance - painting, light bulbs, install and/or maintain fences. </li><li>Assist outside contractors and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors. </li><li>Assist in supplies inventory control and upkeep of all ground's equipment. </li><li>Complete corrective maintenance by completing service requests. </li><li>Assist with unit preparation to include painting, cleaning, repairing and/or replacing appliances, plumbing, and/or electrical fixtures. </li><li>Emergency maintenance/On-Call when needed. </li></ul> <p>What do I need to qualify to be a Groundskeeper and Light Maintenance Technician?</p> <ul> <li>Ability to work 25 hours per week. </li><li>Must have your own vehicle and a valid driver's license. </li><li>Previous grounds keeping / landscaping / maintenance experience required. </li><li>Excellent mechanical aptitude with ability to operate lawn equipment. </li><li>Must be able to read work orders / service requests. </li><li>Good safety habits. </li><li>Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people. </li></ul> <p>Why work with us at Gorman?</p> <ul> <li>Competitive pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour </li><li>Bonuses: Eligible for our Property Bonus program. </li><li>Retirement Support: 401(k) with a 6% company match. </li><li>Employee Assistance Program </li></ul> <p>Gorman & Company is a trusted partner in the community specializing in downtown revitalization, the preservation of affordable housing, workforce housing, and the adaptive reuse of significant historic buildings.</p> <p>Equal Opportunity Affirmative Action Employer.</p>
