TowneBank Mortgage provides the personal experience that you expect from a hometown lender with the most advanced technology available to offer affordable loans, quick processing and exceptional service.</p> <p>Essential Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Originating Mortgage loans in compliance with company and regulatory policies. </li><li>Recruiting and retaining Loan Officers. </li><li>Establishing and tracking sales goals for Loan Officers. </li><li>Formulating and communicating effective sales strategies. </li><li>Acting as liaison between Loan Officers and Bank Officers. </li><li>Acting as a liaison between Loan Officers, Real Estate Brokers and Principals. </li><li>Attending Real Estate office sales meetings and working with agents. </li><li>Coordinating training of Loan Officers with the Training Manager. </li><li>Identifying business development opportunities for Towne and/or the affiliated company. </li><li>Participating in industry related events. </li><li>Attending monthly Real Estate Manager Meetings. </li><li>Promoting business for the Bank and encouraging origination staff to cross-sell products from other Bank business lines. </li><li>Attending monthly Sales Manager Meetings and Manager Meetings. </li><li>Meeting monthly with Sales Manager/EVP. </li><li>Holding sales meetings with their Loan Officer's (Quarterly, at minimum). </li><li>Other duties, as required. </li><li>Obeying all applicable Federal laws, rules, and regulations relating to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA). </li></ul> <p>Skills & Experience You'll Need:</p> <ul> <li>1-2 years of experience as a Loan Officer </li><li>A valid NMLS # </li><li>Experience using Microsoft Office Suite in a professional work environment </li><li>Experience with CRM systems, preferably Total Expert </li><li>Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud </li><li>Well organized with an ability to prioritize and multi-task </li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills </li><li>Strong public speaking skills </li><li>Ability to exercise discretion and sound judgment when dealing with confidential information </li><li>Ability to work independently and as a team member </li><li>Ability to demonstrate flexibility as demands and priorities change </li><li>Ability to interpret and apply policies and guidelines effectively </li></ul> <p>Bonus Points If You:</p> <ul> <li>Have at least four years' experience with a proven sales record. </li><li>Communicate well and foster a positive working environment. </li></ul> <p>What We Offer:</p> <ul> <li>Competitive benefits </li><li>Resources needed to succeed </li><li>Advanced technology </li><li>Innovative marketing </li><li>Excellence in operations </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word via email and verbally </li><li>Exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, use your arms and legs, and sit most of the time </li><li>Have close visual acuity to perform activities such as analyzing data, viewing a computer terminal, reading, and preparing documentation </li><li>Not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions </li><li>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential responsibilities of this job.
