<p>Rogers Group is currently seeking an experienced individual to fill a position as a Maintenance Worker for East Tennessee. This individual will be responsible for performing fixed plant repairs, recommending plant improvements, diagnosing, and repairing mobile heavy equipment, and assisting with various production duties as needed.</p> <p>Wages $25-$35/hr depending on experience!</p> <p>The successful candidate for this role will have a strong emphasis on safety, be a self-starter and willing to learn new tasks, will have responsibilities that include but not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Uncompromised focus on safety excellence. </li><li>Operate and Maintain service truck and all associated tools </li><li>Perform maintenance tasks as required </li><li>Crusher and screen maintenance </li><li>Other plant equipment maintenance </li><li>General fabrication and erection </li><li>General inspection of crushing plant equipment </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Have problem solving mindset, understanding how to repair and prevent or prolong </li><li>Previous maintenance experience preferred but not necessary </li><li>Mechanical aptitude/ability to diagnose and perform basic plant repairs as needed </li><li>Ability to read and comprehend equipment maintenance manuals </li><li>Ability to operate a man lift, telehandler, skid steer </li><li>Experience in welding, cutting Preferred </li></ul> <p>Rogers Group provides extensive benefits, strong compensation, and a safe, drug-free working environment.</p> <p>As a Rogers Group employee, you will have access to our competitive company perks, including:</p> <ul> <li>Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance plus Health Savings Account with annual company contribution. </li><li>Company provided Group Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment insurance. </li><li>Retirement 401(k) with company contribution and match at one year of service. </li><li>Company provided Short- and Long-Term Disability. </li><li>Paid Holiday's including Christmas shutdown between Christmas and New Years Day. </li><li>Paid vacation available after 180-day probationary period and accrued based on years of service. </li><li>Annual performance-based merit increases. </li><li>Career growth/advancement opportunities. </li></ul> <p>It is the policy of Rogers Group, Inc. to recruit, hire, and promote individuals based on demonstrated merit and qualifications.
