Previous work with special education students is preferred. Previous experience with students with social-emotional-behavioral needs is preferred. Responsibilities include working with other pupil services staff to implement IEP goals and objectives, collect data, and support students' behavioral and academic needs.</p> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Completion of required training including 40-hour online course, required supervision hours by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. </li><li>Must have passing score on the RBT Competency Assessment. </li><li>Must pass the initial RBT examination and annual recertification process. </li><li>Must have current certification or be able to obtain certification in Physical Management Training. </li><li>Applicant must be at least 18 years of age, have demonstrated completion of high school or equivalent/higher, and pass all necessary background checks. </li></ul> <p>Job Description:</p> <ul> <li>Implement student Behavior Intervention Plans. </li><li>Maintain and report student records. </li><li>Communicate with classroom teachers regarding student progress. </li><li>Perform Physical Management in the event of an emergency. </li><li>Discharges duties in accordance with RBT Ethics Code. </li><li>Other duties as assigned by a supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst or Pupil Services Department Supervisor. </li></ul> <p>Please include a current resume, transcripts, copy of certification, and 3 letters of recommendation dated within the last 365 days.</p> <p>Excellent salary, benefits, and working conditions.</p> <p>Rate of pay: $30.00/hour</p> <p>Equity and Anti-Racism Vision</p> <p>We, the members of West Hartford Public Schools, dedicate ourselves</p> <p>to the pursuit of equity.
