<p>This role assists with supervision of the day-to-day activities of the Voter Service and Polling Center (VSPC) program. Will assist under the direction of the VSPC Manager with all voting processes at Voter Service and Polling Centers, including material development, traffic flow layout, nightly balancing, security, contingency planning, election worker training.</p> <ul> <li> <p>Researches, collects, and compiles information from various sources including laws, polices, rules, and data to develop process efficiencies.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to acquire and maintain technical working knowledge of relevant federal and state laws, Secretary of State rules, regulations, policies, standards, and/or procedures.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist Manager with Creating the yearly work schedule and define specific election duties/tasks.</p> </li><li> <p>Assists with the preparation, deployment, and deconstruction of VSPC supplies and materials.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with updating and maintaining subprogram manuals, platforms, and Election Worker training as required by state statutes and rules.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist identifying VSPC locations.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with preparation and administering training classes for Election Workers.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with Election Worker communication and time tracking.</p> </li><li> <p>Assists with Election Worker Operation Center which includes but is not limited to set up, troubleshooting, and end of day balancing.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with preparation of Canvass.</p> </li><li> <p>May supervise temporary, part-time, or seasonal employees during the election process.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain positive professional relationships with vendors and business partners.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintains high level of training, certification, and education relating to election administration.</p> </li><li> <p>May be required to work offsite, i.e. warehouse, VSPC, etc.</p> </li><li> <p>May be required to perform other tasks as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Assists with office related tasks as necessary or as instructed.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist in other areas of the Clerk and Recorder's Office as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform other duties as assigned.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience: One year of election administration related experience preferred, or an equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.</p> </li><li> <p>Education and Training: High school diploma or GED equivalent.</p> </li><li> <p>License or Certificate:</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to become deputized.</p> </li><li> <p>Possession of, or the ability to obtain, a valid Colorado Driver's License, state mandated auto insurance, and own transportation are required.</p> </li><li> <p>Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check.</p> </li><li> <p>Other: Must be registered to vote in Colorado.</p> </li></ul>
