The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, demonstrates strong prioritization skills, and consistently delivers accurate results within tight deadlines. Your critical thinking and proactive problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.</p> <p>Job Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Research and resolve check processing issues, including transactions posted to incorrect accounts, payment amount discrepancies, and account balance differences, ensuring all corrections are completed accurately and within established timeframes. </li><li>Reconcile accounts by identifying root causes of posting errors and executing appropriate corrections in accordance with established procedures. </li><li>Proactively identify and address errors or processing issues before they escalate, taking corrective action in a timely manner. </li><li>Prioritize competing investigative tasks effectively in alignment with organizational deadlines, service level agreements (SLAs), and business urgency. </li><li>Apply attention to detail and quality control measures when reviewing and resolving transactions to minimize risk and errors. </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED required. </li><li>2+ years of experience in an operations or transaction processing environment. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to investigate and resolve transaction discrepancies, including check processing and account reconciliation. </li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes of posting errors. </li><li>Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask without sacrificing accuracy. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities</p> <ul> <li>Familiarity with check processing, account reconciliation, or payment investigation workflows. </li><li>Background and working knowledge of Regulation E (Reg E) and ECCHO guidelines as they apply to transaction processing and dispute resolution. </li><li>Developing knowledge of automation and process optimization tools or technologies. </li></ul> <p>Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm full time onsite.</p>
