<p>The General Clerk will be responsible for assisting in general office support of clerical and administrative functions for the department. Maintain files in compliance with applicable laws and audit guidelines and organization. Coordinates the maintenance of supplies and materials of the department/unit.</p> <p>The Healthcare Parking Operations General Clerk will report under the direct supervision of the Keck Parking Operations Manager. The General Clerk will be responsible for assisting in general office support for Keck Hospital Parking Operations which include answering telephones, and answering emails and may provide backup coverage services in the absence of other staff members.</p> <p>Essential Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Provides backup coverage services in the absence of other staff members (Parking Operations Manager, Parking Office Coordinator, Parking Enforcement Officer, and Guest Relations Ambassador Services) </li><li>Perform general office support for Keck Hospital Parking Operations which include answering telephones, and answering emails. </li><li>Providing customers with information and facilitating resolution of customer needs. </li><li>Enforcing Keck Hospital Parking Operations policies, procedures, and regulations. </li><li>Maintains parking occupancy for the Keck Hospital Parking Structure, and other Keck Hospital parking facilities. </li><li>Processes, and tracks Keck Hospital-issued parking permits. </li><li>Maintains and fulfills inventory of office supplies. </li><li>Providing information to patients, visitors, employees, and faculty over the phone and in person. </li><li>Provide data entry for department programs and maintain necessary records, reports, and files. </li><li>Greet guests to the parking office and offer appropriate assistance. </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Req High school or equivalent </li><li>Req 1 year 1-2 Years of experience in a related administrative assistant, or clerical role </li><li>Req Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills </li><li>Req Must have superior phone presence and scheduling competencies </li><li>Req Demonstrate good organizational skills and attention to details </li><li>Req Knowledgeable of general office manners, routines and procedures </li><li>Req Knowledgeable of existing technologies that support the efficient and effective operations of an organization </li><li>Req Demonstrate strong calculation skills </li><li>Req Use sound independent judgment within established procedures and regulations </li><li>Req Knowledgeable of Word, Excel, and other applicable software programs </li><li>Req Fluency in written and spoken English - bilingual in Spanish, preferred. </li><li>Req Ability to work full time, weekday shifts as early as 8:00am </li><li>Req Availability to work weekends for revenue settlement as needed </li><li>Req Interact tactfully and effectively with those encountered in the course of the work, including hostile and irate citizens </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Pref Specialized/technical training 2 Year Degree </li></ul> <p>Required Licenses/Certifications:</p> <ul> <li>Req Fire Life Safety Training (LA City) If no card upon hire, one must be obtained within 30 days of hire and maintained by renewal before expiration date. (Required within LA City only) </li></ul> <p>The hourly rate range for this position is $21.00 - $29.77.
