<p>Our Kforce client in the Saint Louis, MO area is seeking a Senior IT Auditor with strong experience evaluating IT controls, cybersecurity practices, and technology risk across modern infrastructure and applications. This role is well suited for someone who can independently execute end-to-end IT audits, partner effectively with stakeholders, and apply a strong risk-based audit mindset. This is a hybrid position.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Lead the planning, execution, and reporting of IT and cyber-related audits </li><li>Assess technology risks and evaluate controls aligned with frameworks such as NIST, CIS Controls, ISO 27001, SOX, and COBIT </li><li>Review cybersecurity practices, including access controls, network security, and change management processes </li><li>Develop clear, actionable audit findings and collaborate with stakeholders on remediation strategies </li><li>Partner with IT, security, and operational teams to strengthen the control environment* Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field </li><li>Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CISM, CIA, CEH, GPEN, OSCP, or similar preferred </li><li>3+ years of experience in IT audit, internal audit, cybersecurity assessment, or public accounting </li><li>Strong knowledge of IT General Controls (ITGCs), risk assessment, and technology control frameworks </li><li>Hands-on familiarity with networks, applications, platforms, and information security tools </li><li>Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and guide stakeholders </li><li>Experience in Big 4 or large, complex audit environments a plus </li><li>Office-based role with 10-15% travel </li></ul>
