<p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Reyes Fleet Management is seeking 2 Diesel Mechanic Trainees/Fleet Technician Trainees to focus on the PM services and driver write-up repairs of our tractors and trailers at our Martin Brower shop in Enfield, CT. Responsibilities and more involved repairs will change as the Trainee progresses.</p> <p>Shift: Full-Time l Sunday-Wednesday or Tuesday-Friday from 2:00pm-12:30am OR</p> <p>Sunday-Thursday or Monday-Friday from 4:00pm-12:30amPay: $23.00-$25.00/HR based on experience and qualifications</p> <p>Why work for Reyes Fleet Management?</p> <ul> <li>4 Weeks paid time off + Holiday pay </li><li>Yearly performance raises </li><li>ASE Incentive Pay (up to $2.00 additionally with ASE Certifications) </li><li>CDL Incentive Pay-($1.00 additionally with active license) </li><li>Career advancement opportunities </li><li>401K and Company paid Life Insurance </li><li>Referral bonuses and Reyes Reward program </li><li>Health, dental, and vision coverage including multiple medical plans </li><li>Tool & Boot annual payout & Paid Uniforms </li><li>Great work culture and clean facilities </li><li>Financial and wellness discounts and much more!! </li></ul> <p>Position Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Primarily focuses on the preventative maintenance of the Fleet and Material Handling equipment of the Reyes Family of Businesses, as well as assists in the repair and diagnosis of various truck, trailer and Material Handling equipment</p> </li><li> <p>Complete necessary documentation for repairs and maintenance while maintaining accurate records of work performed, parts used, and repairs/inspections completed</p> </li><li> <p>Learn and assist diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems using diagnostic tools and technical manuals</p> </li><li> <p>Adhere to all company, local, state, and federal polices and regulations including DOT, OSHA, and Reyes Fleet Management standards, while ensuring compliance with safety programs, correct selection and use of appropriate tools, PPE, machine guarding, and established best safety practices</p> </li><li> <p>This position requires driving Reyes Family of Businesses, Reyes Fleet Management and customer vehicles, it is regulated by the DOT and requires a current driver qualification file to be maintained as required by the role. The Driver Qualification file includes: an annual motor vehicle records (MVR) check, a successfully completed DOT Physical, and Safety Performance History records request from prior employers in the last three years. Additionally, CDL holders will have a DOT Drug Screening within 30 days of start and subject to a FMSCA Clearinghouse review</p> </li><li> <p>This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required.
