Adheres to all Medical Center policies and procedures as well as the regulations of the Maryland State Child Care Administration.</p> <p>Child Care Aide Position Requirements</p> <p>Education</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or a certificate of high school equivalence required. </li><li>Must have evidence of six hours of continuing training each year. </li><li>Heartsaver First Aid and CPR certification within 6 months of hire required. </li><li>Must complete within 6 months after the date of hire, an orientation session that follows guidelines established by the Office of Child Care and includes but is not limited to: Proper child supervision, workplace professionalism and interacting with parents. </li></ul> <p>Experience</p> <ul> <li>One year to 3 years experience. </li></ul> <p>Child Care Aide Work Schedule</p> <ul> <li>May work day, evening, and/or night schedule to accommodate 24/7 operation </li><li>May work weekends </li><li>May work overtime as needed </li></ul> <p>Child Care Aide Benefits</p> <p>Benefits: We provide a robust benefits suite for our eligible team members (36+ hours for 12-hour shifts; 37.5+ hours for standard shifts):</p> <ul> <li>Health: Medical (including HSA), Dental, Vision, & Prescription </li><li>Wealth: Matching 403(b), Healthcare FSAs, & Dependent Care FSAs </li><li>Growth: $5,000 Tuition Assistance & Certification support </li><li>Balance: Generous PTO and Holidays, Onsite Child Care, Pet Insurance </li><li>Income Protection & Leave: Employer-Paid Short-Term Disability, Paid Leave Program, & Long-Term Disability (LTD for FT) </li><li>Life & Security: Employer-paid Life and additional voluntary benefits such as Accident, Critical Care, additional Life, and more </li></ul> <p>Salary range: $17.00 - $21.25 Commensurate with experience</p>
