We plan to manufacture and build more than 10,000 units through 2030. Join us as we scale our operations, transition into a higher-capacity manufacturing facility powered by smart automation and robotics, expand our production capacity by more than 3x in the Western U.S., and prepare for future national growth.</p> <p>POSITION SUMMARY</p> <p>iDnA is seeking a creative and tech-savvy Intermediate Interior Designer with three to five years of multi-family, hospitality or commercial design experience to support the development and design of multifamily projects. This role is ideal for a designer with a strong foundation in interior design, technical proficiency, and experience working through multiple phases of design-from concept development through construction documentation.</p> <p>This role will collaborate closely with the Senior Interior Designer, architects, vendors, consultants, and team members from other Impact Housing verticals to help create thoughtful, well-coordinated interiors that balance design intent, functionality, and budget.</p> <p>KEY RESPONSIBILITES</p> <ul> <li>Support the design development and documentation of multifamily amenity spaces and model units </li><li>Prepare interior design packages including finish plans, material selections, FF&E, and specifications </li><li>Assist with the development of mood boards, design concepts, and presentation materials </li><li>Produce and coordinate construction documents in collaboration with the project team </li><li>Assist with consultant coordination and respond to design-related RFIs and submittals </li><li>Participate in client meetings and presentations as needed </li><li>Conduct material research and maintain organized sample libraries </li><li>Oversee setup of model unit and amenity space furniture installations </li><li>Support construction administration tasks, including site visits and punch walk </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>3-5 years of professional experience, preferably on multifamily project </li><li>Working knowledge of building codes, ADA requirements, and industry standards </li><li>Strong understanding of materials, finishes, and FF&E </li><li>Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail </li><li>Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment </li><li>Strong communication and collaboration skills </li><li>Reliable transportation and ability to travel to project sites for same day visits </li><li>Available for periodic extended overnight travel (less than 10% a year) </li></ul> <p>Technical:</p> <ul> <li>Proficiency in Revit is required </li><li>Working knowledge of V-Ray, SketchUp, InDesign, Photoshop, PowerPoint and Bluebeam Revu </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION & CREDENTIALS</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture </li></ul> <p>WORK AUTHORIZATION</p> <p>All prospective Impact Housing employees must be able to demonstrate eligibility to work in the US.</p> <p>COMPENSATION & BENEFITS</p> <ul> <li>Salary of $65K - $80k, based on experience </li><li>Medical, Dental, Vision, FSA, HSA </li><li>Vacation </li><li>Sick time </li><li>Holiday pay </li><li>Bonus potential </li><li>Ownership of company equity </li><li>401K Retirement Plan </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS</p> <ul> <li> <p>Prolonged periods of sitting, some standing and working in various environmental conditions.</p> </li><li> <p>NOTICE TO APPLICANTS*</p> </li></ul> <p>Please provide cover letter, resume, and work samples (pdf format, 10mb maximum) when applying.</p> <p>NOTE</p> <p>This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee(s) of this position.
