IL-31 is believed to play a role in more than 50 diseases and is a promising therapeutic target for treating multiple conditions. Nemluvio has reported positive results of the phase 3 programs in Prurigo Nodularis and Atopic Dermatitis and is in phase 2/3 for chronic kidney disease associated pruritus. Nemluvio is approved in the US, EU, UK, Switzerland and Australia. Nemluvio is in phase 2/3 stage in Systemic Sclerosis (SSc) and in Chronic Pruritus of Unknown Origin (CPUO).</p> <p>The Nemluvio Scientific Director role combines strategic leadership with hands-on involvement in the development, writing, and review of high-quality scientific publications, congress abstracts, and posters. The role will oversee the Adhoc analysis plan for data that supports all publications, including aligning prioritization with business needs, and timely delivery of outputs in collaboration with the Biostats peers.</p> <p>Working in close partnership with cross-functional teams-including Clinical Development, Clinical Operations, Real-World Evidence, Biostatistics, and Commercial, US Medical and US Commercial-as well as external experts and investigators, the Director will ensure scientific accuracy, alignment with brand strategy, and timely publication and communication of data to support the clinical differentiation and value proposition of Nemluvio in dermatology.</p> <p>The Director will also oversee and collaborate with external agencies and vendors to ensure the delivery of scientifically rigorous and compliant materials, while maintaining ownership of content quality and messaging consistency.</p> <p>Additionally, the role includes responsibility for training cross-functional teams on newly developed and published data, ensuring broad understanding and effective application of emerging scientific insights across the organization.</p> <p>Primary Responsibilities Will Include:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Serve as the primary driver of the global medical communications and publications strategy for Nemluvio within Galderma's dermatology portfolio</p> </li><li> <p>Overseeing the Adhoc analysis plan for data that supports all publications, aligning prioritization with business needs</p> </li><li> <p>Lead the end-to-end creation of high-quality scientific publications, abstracts, and congress posters-personally authoring (with vendor support) and refining materials to ensure scientific rigor, clarity, and strategic alignment.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate cross-functionally with Clinical Development, Biostatistics, Commercial, and other internal stakeholders, as well as external experts, to ensure accurate interpretation and communication of clinical data.</p> </li><li> <p>Develop and execute a global publication plan, proactively adapting to changes in the dermatology landscape and ensuring timely dissemination of impactful data.</p> </li><li> <p>Act as the subject matter expert on publication-related activities, guiding internal teams and external collaborators through best practices and compliance with Galderma's standards.</p> </li><li> <p>Manage vendor relationships and oversee publication-related budgets, contracts, and timelines to ensure efficient and high-quality deliverables.</p> </li><li> <p>Contribute to the evolution of internal processes and SOPs, identifying opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance scientific impact.</p> </li><li> <p>Deliver training to cross-functional teams on newly developed and published data, ensuring consistent understanding and effective application across the organization.</p> </li><li> <p>Foster a collaborative and transparent working style, confidently navigating complex discussions and offering strategic input while maintaining scientific integrity.</p> </li></ul> <p>Minimum Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Advanced Doctorate degree in a relevant scientific discipline. Significant industry experience in relevant therapeutic area may be accepted in lieu of education requirements.</p> </li><li> <p>3-5 years' experience (greater than 7 years preferred) with leadership success in the following areas: pharmaceutical medical communications and/or industry experience.</p> </li><li> <p>Writing and leadership experience. Excellent communication skills: oral, written and presentation.</p> </li><li> <p>Able to use standard computer technologies including integrated business software (word processing, spreadsheet) and other common applications.</p> </li><li> <p>Be able to manage multiple tasks and priorities. To identify and analyze the needs of the business and translate problems into business opportunities.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience in personnel management including recruitment, hiring, coaching and motivation.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to travel approximately 25% of time, as needed to support business</p> </li></ul> <p>About the Compensation:</p> <p>The base salary range for this role is determined based on several factors. These include but are not limited to job accountabilities; skill sets; experience and training; certifications; work location; competitive market rates and other business needs. At Galderma, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on a unique combination of factors for each role. A reasonable estimate of the hiring range for this role is a base salary of $225,000 - 275,000 USD.</p> <p>In addition to base salary, we provide an opportunity to participate in an annual short-term incentive program that is based on corporate performance with a multiplier focused on individual performance.
