No matter where you want to go in your career, you can get there from here!</p> <p>Position Title Project Teacher FLSA Non-Exempt FT/PT Part Time Hours Per Week 25 Work Schedule 8:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Position Salary Range $33-$34 Summary</p> <p>Project Access is a college preparatory program located at HCC. We strive to support high school students with disabilities, who will be receiving a high school diploma, make a successful transition to college during a 4 week summer program.</p> <p>Essential Role Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Our Teachers provide students with opportunities to engage in academic and nonacademic activities, with a focus on college preparatory skills and strategies. Emphasis on executive functioning skills, advocacy skills, and academic skills. Teachers will develop the specified class by identifying goals/objections, creating supportive lessons and activities, utilizing a web-based management system such as Canvas, and developing individual classroom expectations. </li><li>Teachers will instruct daily classes and participate in weekly college trips. </li><li>Teachers may participate in additional activities to support the summer program throughout the year such as fall and winter parties, Open House events, planning and training events, etc. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Education Required Bachelor's degree Experience Required Preferred Experience</p> <ul> <li>Must have experience instructing students with various disabilities and classroom management skills. </li><li>Teachers must be an accredited or certified educator; or have verified experience instructing students in a college environment. </li></ul> <p>Physical Demand Summary Division Student Success Office Department Disability Support Services</p> <p>Posting Detail Information</p> <p>Posting Number NB262P Number of Vacancies 1 Best Consideration Date Job Open Date 03/04/2026 Job Close Date Continuous Recruitment?
