<p>Trailer Mechanic</p> <p>Hale Trailer Brake & Wheel, Inc. is a multi-location, full-service trailer dealership with an immediate opening at its Springfield, MA, branch location. We are looking for a Trailer Mechanic to join our team of trailer professionals. Including preventive maintenance, installations, replacements, and diagnostic tasks for various makes and models of semi-trailers and related equipment in an efficient, timely, accurate, professional, and safe manner in accordance with all Company policies, DOT, OSHA and other governmental standards and regulations.</p> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Must have a minimum of 1 year experience as a heavy-duty truck or trailer mechanic. Apprentice mechanic program also available. </li><li>Must have knowledge regarding the safe handling and operation of trailers. </li><li>Experience with fabrication, suspensions, air brakes, electrical systems, liftgates, body repair and welding is a plus but willing to train. </li><li>Must present a professional, highly motivated, positive, result oriented, problem-solving attitude. </li><li>Must have good communication skills. </li><li>Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced dynamic environment. </li><li>Must have own hand tools.
