<p>Data Scientist: We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist in ATL, Austin and Salt Lake City, to help solve complex, data-driven problems through statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and machine learning. This role focuses on transforming large, diverse datasets into actionable insights that influence product development, operational efficiency, and business decision-making. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, brings strong analytical rigor, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.</p> <p>Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Partner with application engineering, product management, and operational teams to design, experiment with, and implement machine learning and analytical solutions </li><li>Analyze large and complex datasets to surface patterns, generate hypotheses, and validate findings through experimentation </li><li>Apply statistical and machine learning techniques to real-world business problems, producing measurable insights to guide product and feature planning </li><li>Translate ambiguous problem statements into structured analytical and mathematical models </li><li>Develop, test, and scale algorithms while ensuring performance, reliability, and interpretability </li><li>Surface analytically driven features and insights within core products and reporting workflows </li><li>Collaborate with product, marketing, and commercial stakeholders as needed to incorporate market and customer feedback </li><li>Communicate findings, trade-offs, and root causes clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences* Master's degree or higher in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field is preferred </li><li>Strong foundation in statistical and machine learning techniques such as classification, regression, clustering, dimensionality reduction, and multivariate analysis </li><li>Experience evaluating model performance using methods such as cross-validation, hold-out testing, and similar approaches </li><li>Understanding of algorithmic complexity and performance at scale </li><li>Hands-on experience with predictive modeling using Python and/or R </li><li>Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL </li><li>Ability to code in at least one general-purpose programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C#, or similar) </li><li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and written communication skills </li><li>Comfort operating in evolving or ambiguous environments where adaptability is critical </li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of an organization </li><li>Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities </li><li>Proficiency with standard productivity and presentation tools </li></ul>
