<p>DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF WORK</p> <p>MINIMUM AGE: 18 years</p> <p>PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT: Camp Dearborn in Milford</p> <p>HOURS/PERIOD OF EMPLOYMENT: Seasonal position - during the months of March - November.</p> <p>Camp Dearborn is a seven-day operation. The schedule for this position will vary and will include weekends and holidays. Extended time off during this period is extremely limited. Most positions average 40 hours per week.</p> <p>NOTE: As a Camp Dearborn employee you will receive 50% off your seasonal lease, a free season pass to Camp Dearborn; discounts on food/beverage and apparel; discounts on golf and golf equipment.</p> <p>GENERAL DESCRIPTION:</p> <p>This is a routine unskilled laborer position. The employee performs a variety of tasks, which vary depending on assignment. Routine tasks include recreational activity leadership, guest relations, staking firewood, emptying BBQ grilles & fire pits, picking up litter, comfort station maintenance, lake maintenance, rentals for paddle boats and Adventure Golf, point of sales, managing guest admission at various gates, working alongside of and assuming responsibility of Junior Park Attendants as necessary.</p> <p>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Physically transports heavy objects i.e. moving picnic tables. </li><li>Loads and unloads heavy objects, i.e. ice and firewood deliveries. </li><li>Maintains grounds and landscaping, i.e. cutting grass and maintaining property. </li><li>Maintains equipment and property, i.e. painting, cleaning, and basic repair work. </li><li>Works outdoors potentially in extreme heat, rain or other unfavorable weather conditions. </li><li>Follows verbal and written instruction. </li><li>Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance. </li></ul> <p>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS</p> <p>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to work independently. </li><li>Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships. </li><li>Ability to follow through with task completion. </li></ul> <p>EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING/LICENSING REQUIREMENTS</p> <p>NECESSARY SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Must possess a valid driver license. </li><li>Must submit to a criminal history check and pre-employment physical/drug screen. </li></ul>
