In the Vinson Hall family, our exceptional staff thrive, grow and build careers.</p> <p>We have an opening for an Activities Assistant to support our Assisted Living, Long-Term Care (LTC), and Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) programs. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with older adults, has a creative spirit, and is passionate about planning and leading meaningful activities that enrich daily life and foster a strong sense of community.</p> <ul> <li>One-year cognitive impairment experience required. </li><li>Certified Dementia Practitioner preferred. </li><li>High school diploma or GED required. Related college degree preferred. </li><li>Certification as an Activities Professional (per state and federal regulations) preferred. </li><li>One year experience conducting activities programs in a geriatric activity setting or nursing home required. </li><li>Ability to multitask required. </li><li>Must be responsible, trustworthy and dependable. </li><li>Ability to work with older adults and contribute as a collaborative team member required. Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed. </li><li>Must be able to transport, move, or help transport residents of varying weights via wheelchair as needed. </li></ul>
