<p>Overview</p> <p>LMI is actively seeking a dynamic, experienced mid-level Systems Engineer with a strong background in model-based systems engineering (MBSE) supporting U.S. Government Civilian Agencies, the DoD, and/or Intelligence Community (IC). This individual will leverage SysML to model systems, their behaviors and interactions relevant to the customer's use cases. We are honored to be recognized as a company that values a people-centered culture, and we are grateful to our employees for making this possible!</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive MBSE, systems engineering, and programmatic support to our customer. </li><li>This role entails leading the adoption and consistent application of MBSE methodologies and tools, managing the creation and governance of system models in partnership with LMI and government teams, conducting model-based and traditional Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) events, and driving Digital Engineering (DE) initiatives. </li><li>Actively participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPT's) and other engineering working groups to review, assess, and mature engineering artifacts such as concept of operations (CONOPs), system architecture, system behavior, system interfaces, functional allocation, Interface Control Documents/Descriptions (ICDs), and data models. </li><li>Provide meeting coordination, technical expertise, and system development to assist the customer decision makers. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li>BS degree in Mathematics, Physics, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related. </li><li>3 -5 years of MBSE and Systems Engineering experience across the SE lifecycle. </li><li>Demonstrated in-depth understanding of systems engineering principles/processes, MBSE methodologies, and best practices such as SETR process and Object-Oriented Systems Engineering Methodology (OOSEM). </li><li>Proven experience with MBSE tools such as Magic Draw, Cameo, Enterprise Architect. </li><li>Proficiency in object-oriented systems modeling languages such as SysML, UML, UAFML. </li><li>Experience with Agile Development methods and DE capabilities. </li><li>Professional written and oral communication skills. </li></ul> <p>Desired:</p> <ul> <li>OMG-Certified SysML Professional (OCSMP) SysML Model User and SysML Model Builder Fundamental credentials. </li><li>Familiarity with SysML v2. </li><li>Familiarity with DoD Modular Open System Approach (MOSA). </li><li>Experience supporting Navy or Department of Defense (DoD). </li><li>Experience with object-oriented programming languages such as Python, Java, C++. </li><li>Active TS/SCI </li></ul> <p>Candidate must be eligible to obtain a TS/SCI.</p> <p>Target salary range: $75,000 - $128,000. Final compensation will be determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to your skills, experience, education, and/or certifications.</p> <p>The salary range displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is not a guarantee of compensation.
