<p>We are seeking a Territory Manager for our Government business, this position is responsible for the development and execution of a plan to manage the Government Business for PDC. Responsibilities include developing a plan for business growth with a focus on Defense Contractors, VA Hospitals, Education, DOD, Federal, State and Municipal governments, strategizing with Sales and Product Management, in achieving PDC team objectives. Develop business strategy to successfully grow our business with all Government sectors.</p> <ul> <li>Work with sales and product management to understand how to best leverage our government contracts with direct and channel partners to expand our presence in the government sector. </li><li>Review reports of sales data, connected expense, gross margin by product line, by account, etc., and analyze variances and initiate corrective action required. </li><li>Collaborates on pricing to assure compliance of contracts with other signed contracts and commercial pricing. </li><li>Appraise existing Company products on contract as compared to competitive lines relative to design, price, marketability, etc, and where warranted, recommend changes & design improvement or other procedures for approval. </li><li>Drive relationships with key government influencers in each sector and leverage partnerships as needed. </li><li>Assures the integrity, ethics, and legality of all actions regarding staff. </li><li>Work with existing sales teams and new channel partners to open new markets and areas of opportunity. </li><li>Bring in New Product demand to R&D and Product Management to help develop a pipeline of products required for the government sectors. </li><li>Bachelor's degree in business or related field </li><li>5+ years of demonstrable successful experience in Government Sales or closely related discipline including implementing and reporting on Subcontracting Plans. </li><li>Must have a proven track record in increasing sales volume and meeting sales targets. </li><li>Ability to work in a dynamic work environment with deadline pressures. </li><li>Strong, current, existing relationships with key decision-makers within the Government Sector that can be leveraged with this position are desirable. </li><li>Must possess and demonstrate extremely strong persuasive, interpersonal, and presentation (oral and written) skills. </li><li>Must demonstrate previous success in development and implementation of channel development. </li><li>Must demonstrate previous success of implementing a strategic government growth sales plan. </li><li>Must demonstrate previous success in working with and leveraging cross-functional teams across the organization. </li><li>Strong PC/Internet/Microsoft Office skills a must, proficiency in Salesforce.com </li><li>Competencies for success: Drive for results, business acumen, and attention to detail building effective work teams, presentation skills, and interpersonal savvy and strategic agility. </li><li>Must be willing to work from a remote or home office </li><li>MBA preferred </li><li>CFCM Certification a plus. </li><li>Travel Up to 50% </li></ul> <p>Who we are:</p> <p>When hospitals, schools, hotels, and even music festivals need to identify the people coming through their doors, they rely on PDC's expertise and solutions.
