The current finance director is retiring after serving twenty-five (25) years with the city. Master's preferred</p> <p>Experience/Qualifications:</p> <p>Five (5) years of work experience in financial management. Public sector experience preferred</p> <p>Five (5) years supervisory/leadership experience with increasing responsibility in a related field</p> <p>Advanced accounting certificate including CPA and/or CPFO preferred</p> <p>Access to transportation with insurance at required state levels to conduct business throughout the assigned area</p> <p>Salary and Benefits:</p> <p>The finance director is a full-time, FLSA exempt position.</p> <p>Salary negotiable DOQ. Current salary range is $131,204 - $179,562.</p> <p>Generous benefit package including: 401(a) deferred compensation contribution, paid vacation, sick leave, holidays, Iowa Public Employees Retirement System (IPERS) contributions, group health/dental/vision, life insurance, long-term disability and flexible health/dependent care spending plan contributions.</p> <p>Residency:</p> <p>There is no residency requirement for this position</p>
