<p>General Summary:</p> <p>Assists pharmacist in daily routine of filling prescriptions and inventory control and assists patients at the counter</p> <p>Works under the supervision of the Pharmacist</p> <p>Principal Duties & Responsibilities:</p> <p>Example of Essential Duties:</p> <ol> <li> <p>Assist with filling prescriptions: packages and labels prescriptions under the direct supervision of the pharmacist</p> </li><li> <p>Pull inventory and count medications</p> </li><li> <p>Accurately receive telephone orders</p> </li><li> <p>Run cash register</p> </li><li> <p>Assist customers</p> </li></ol> <p>Other Essential Duties May Include (but are not limited to):</p> <ul> <li>Place orders with vendors to replenish and maintain adequate levels of pharmaceutical inventory </li><li>Stock merchandise and various food products. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:</p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li>Excellent interpersonal skills required. </li><li>Ability to count accurately. </li><li>Consistently arrives at work, in professional attire, on time and completes all tasks within established time frame. </li><li>Seeks additional appropriate tasks when primary tasks are completed and assists co-workers as needed. </li><li>Demonstrates adaptability to expanded roles. </li><li>Pharmacy Tech Certification and registered with the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy </li><li>Adheres to all clinic policies and procedures. </li></ul> <p>Education: HS diploma or GED.</p> <p>Preferred:</p> <p>Previous experience in a retail Pharmacy</p>
