<p>Job Description:</p> <p>GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:</p> <p>Responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of communication plans using the Slate CRM in support of meeting new and returning student enrollment goals. The Associate Director of Enrollment Communications will develop personalized, relevant, and targeted outreach messaging that targets various audiences using multiple communication channels, including email, print, digital, video, web, and text. This position will also attend and support undergraduate admissions events and activities.</p> <p>SUPERVISION RECEIVED:</p> <p>This position reports to Executive Director of Marketing & Communications</p> <p>SUPERVISION EXERCISED:</p> <p>This position may supervise student work-study students or interns</p> <p>EXAMPLES OF SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Working closely with the Executive Director of Marketing & Communications and Vice President of Enrollment Management to develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive communication plan for incoming and returning students including campaigns for prospects, inquiries, applicants, admits, and yield for freshmen, transfer, and parents/families using the Slate CRM. </li><li>Working closely with the Executive Director of Marketing & Communications and Vice President of Enrollment Management, write, design and execute all electronic communications to prospective and incoming students and their families. </li><li>Assist in the development of communications aimed at increasing the retention and persistence of returning students. </li><li>Serve on the Persistence Communications Team and other committees as assigned. </li><li>Review analytics related to electronic communications on an ongoing basis and make recommendations to adjust the communication strategy as needed. </li><li>Continuously review messages and publications to make sure they are relevant, up to date with accurate information and photography, and have working links. </li><li>Oversee the development and production of enrollment marketing print materials. </li><li>Work with marketing department to suggest/provide posts for enrollment-focused social media </li><li>Keep admissions web pages up to date. Make recommendations for new web content. </li><li>Coordinate with Admissions staff and the Framingham State University community to build messaging and communication to target populations ensuring alignment with the rest of the communication flow. </li><li>Work with the university marketing department to ensure consistency in college branding guidelines. </li><li>Maintain content on various college search/lead generation sites such as Niche, College Board, Naviance and others. </li><li>Develop and update PowerPoint presentations as needed </li><li>Attend admissions recruitment and community events </li><li>Accountable for ensuring that affirmative action, equal opportunity, and diversity are integrally tied to all actions and decisions in areas of responsibility. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>A Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or a related field. </li><li>A minimum of 3-5 years related experience, preferably in higher education. </li><li>Knowledge of enrollment marketing communications and trends that support student recruitment initiatives across multiple platforms, including print, digital, social media, and web. </li><li>Excellent writing skills with the ability to communicate to a range of diverse target audiences. </li><li>Ability to interpret and analyze communications data </li><li>Strong administrative skills, attention to detail and capacity to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. </li><li>Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a team </li><li>Strong time management skills to meet all deadlines </li><li>Proven record of effective collaboration and work with diverse populations. </li><li>Ability to work nights and weekends when necessary. </li></ul> <p>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Experience using CRM technology in a higher education setting </li><li>Experience in college admissions </li><li>Experience with Drupal content management system </li><li>Knowledge of HTML </li></ul> <p>Candidates who are bilingual in English and Spanish or English and Portuguese are strongly encouraged to apply.</p> <p>Additional Information:</p> <p>This is a full-time, exempt , benefits-eligible position in the Association of Professional Administrators (APA) bargaining unit with a union title of Associate Director.
