This individual will work as member of the medical staff, providing for the safety and welfare of AMCAT student-athletes. This may include the prevention, emergency care, clinical diagnosis, care and rehabilitation of injuries and medical conditions for student-athletes.</p> <p>Anna Maria College is an NCAA Division III institution, sponsoring 13 varsity sports. Beginning in fall 2025, AMC will be a full member of the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC). The men's lacrosse program will compete in the Northern Athletic Conference (NAC).</p> <p>Job duties include, but are not limited to;</p> <p>Assistant Athletic Trainer Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Provide medical care to student-athletes including evaluation, rehabilitation, prevention, documentation, and care of injuries. </li><li>Supervise athletic practices and competitions according to schedule, including attending away contests when appropriate. </li><li>Assist in coordinating pre-season physicals, team physician visits, and off-campus appointments for student-athletes. </li><li>Ensure student-athlete pre-participation medical clearance. </li><li>Communicate with coaching staff regarding all health and fitness issues affecting student-athletes. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree required in Athletic Training or related field, Master's Degree preferred. </li><li>Current CPR for Professional Rescuers and Healthcare Providers/BLS for Healthcare Providers certification. </li><li>Current BOC certification in good standing, and current Massachusetts licensure (or eligible). </li><li>Must possess a valid driver's license and be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed. </li></ul> <p>Review of applications will begin immediately and remain open until filled.</p> <p>Apply</p>
