<p>Department</p> <p>Research Institute</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>Coordinates activities for programs within the Research Division of the Kolschowsky Research and Education Institute at Sarasota Memorial Health Care System. Participates in meetings and oversees special projects and activities related to research strategy for the Institute. Coordinates day-to-day operations and administrative support to the Research Division as delegated by the Research Directors or Managers. Supports high priority projects, strategic goals, maintains metrics on research programs. Provides programmatic support for programs and services that make up the Institute.</p> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Require a bachelor's degree in business or healthcare administration or applicable field. Master's degree is preferred. </li><li>Require five (5) years of experience with research regulatory submissions/maintenance and IRB review/approvals, with a minimum of three (3) within a healthcare setting. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Prefer demonstrated knowledge on research related databases including REDCAP, Clinical Trial Management Systems, and various common electronic data capture software. </li><li>Prefer excellent written and verbal communication skills. </li><li>Prefer demonstrated ability to initiate, prioritize, and manage many concurrent projects, work across multiple departments and meet deadlines. </li><li>Prefer certification in Research (through SOCRA, ACRP, etc.). </li><li>Prefer strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with leaders, staff, patients, families, healthcare team, research sponsors and external agencies. </li></ul> <p>Employment Screening Requirements</p> <p>As part of Sarasota Memorial Health Care System's commitment to keeping people safe, all individuals providing care to vulnerable populations are required to undergo background screening through The Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse. https://info.flclearinghouse.com/</p>
