<p>Overview The Manager of Asset Innovation is responsible for managing the organization's e-Mobility initiatives, on-road asset specification and emerging technology research and implementation. This position will report directly to the Vice President of Assets. Responsibilities Synthesize applicable data sources to better inform company decisions. Identify, vet and lead pilots of new fleet technology opportunities to ensure maximum efficiency and a reduced total cost of ownership. Help reduce fleetwide GHG emissions by managing e-Mobility and other emission reduction projects. Establish industry thought leadership on emission reducing technology and applicability to aide in the sales and account management process. Collaborate on vehicle specifications with internal operations and maintenance to improve operational efficiency based on vehicle application, increased safety, improved driver satisfaction, and a reduced total cost of ownership. Collaborate on short-term execution and long-term asset procurement strategy to improve return on invested capital. Develop & maintain relationships with original equipment manufacturers and consultants to ensure NFI is taking advantage of all necessary technology and funding opportunities.
