This position is in Cargill's protein and salt business, where we provide wholesome, high-quality food products to a wide range of customers, from foodservice operators and grocery stores to manufacturers and exporters.</p> <p>Job Type: Full time</p> <p>Shift(s) Available: 3rd shift (8:30 pm - 6 30 am Sun- Wed)</p> <p>Compensation: $26.93/hr</p> <p>Sign-on bonus: $1,500</p> <p>Principal Accountabilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Adhere to all safety requirements, including use of PPE, area inspections, hazard recognition, and pre-operational equipment inspections.</p> </li><li> <p>Address or report hazards found, report deficiencies found with equipment, input work requests into SAP</p> </li><li> <p>Perform tasks in the mining cycle, to facilitate the safe and efficient mining of salt.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform any task assigned by Production Supervisor</p> </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa, or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer</p> </li><li> <p>Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to understand and communicate in English(verbal/written)</p> </li><li> <p>High school degree or GED Equivalent</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able and willing to perform with or without reasonable accommodation: working underground (up to 1800 feet), which involves bending, kneeling, climbing, crawling, twisting, and lift a minimum of 50 pounds.</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to operate machinery and/or industrial equipment</p> </li><li> <p>Able to work overtime, holidays, nights, weekends, and different shifts with advance notice</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Prior experience in production related work</p> </li><li> <p>Basic Computer skills</p> </li></ul> <p>Considered candidates will receive a phone call from a (952) area code.</p> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer, including Disability/Vet</p> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer, including Disability/Vet</p>
