<p>Position: Middle School - 5th Grade English Language Arts Teacher Reports to: Middle School Principal Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Valid State Department of Education licensure/certificate </li><li>Fully licensed to teach 5th Grade English Language Arts </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities and Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Prepare engaging, standards-aligned instructional materials. </li><li>Develop and implement lesson plans that meet state standards and district curriculum goals. </li><li>Teach scheduled classes with creativity and a student-centered approach. </li><li>Foster an inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported. </li><li>Evaluate students' academic needs and learning styles to identify opportunities for enhanced learning. </li><li>Use formal and informal assessment strategies to monitor progress and provide meaningful, actionable feedback. </li><li>Employ a data-driven approach to adjust and refine lesson plans based on assessment results. </li><li>Facilitate activities that promote teamwork, collaboration, and positive peer relationships. </li><li>Establish a classroom culture that encourages curiosity, engagement, and mutual respect. </li><li>Participate in extracurricular activities to support the school community. </li><li>Embody high ethical standards, integrity, and confidentiality in all professional conduct. </li><li>Maintain a clear record free of criminal violations that would prohibit public school employment. </li><li>Demonstrate a passion and desire to teach and inspire the students of Archbold Schools. </li><li>Embodies high ethical standards/integrity/confidentiality.
