<p>Requisition Number: 2025-5791</p> <p>Type of Position: Full-Time</p> <p>Location: Washington, DC</p> <p>Apply Now</p> <p>Overview</p> <p>Signet Health Offers a Wide range of Benefits for its Employees:</p> <ul> <li>Competitive Salaries </li><li>Medical Dental & Vision Insurance </li><li>Generous Paid Time Off </li><li>Paid Malpractice Insurance </li><li>CEU Allowances </li><li>Retirement Savings plans- 401K with employer Match </li></ul> <p>Requirements/Qualifications</p> <p>Overview:</p> <p>The Billing/Coding Specialist will perform duties related to posting, billing, and collecting of clinical revenue within the behavioral health departments.</p> <p>Major Duties and Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Adheres to standardized billing department's policies and procedures. </li><li>Works closely with the Revenue Cycle Director and the other hospital team members to ensure compliance. </li><li>Reviews provider charges for accuracy and completeness and obtains any missing information. </li><li>Prepares, reviews, and transmits claims using billing software, including electronic and paper claim processing. </li><li>Responds and resolves to denials and follows up on appeals. </li><li>Assists in generating billing metrics to facility staff, operations, and corporate service teams. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in the healthcare industry dealing with billing, patient accounts, managed care, etc. </li><li>Certified Professional Coder is strongly preferred. </li><li>Be able to quickly identify root cause of billing problems and bring to resolution. </li><li>Bachelor's Degree and three years of billing/coding experience is strongly preferred. </li></ul> <p>Hospital/Program Description</p> <p>EOE</p> <p>Salary Information:</p> <p>Minimum: $75,141 annually</p> <p>Maximum: $90,921 annually</p> <p>Depending on Experience</p>
