<p>EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:</p> <p>High School education or equivalent.</p> <p>Core skill level requirements as listed.</p> <p>Applicable OFS Carrollton certification.</p> <p>Two-three years' experience in a Shipping traffic work environment.</p> <p>ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: (Preferred qualifications, certifications, and/or licenses)</p> <ul> <li>Preferred qualifications Shipping, logistics, manufacturing, planning, Inventory, ability to make at once judgements, and problem-solving skills experience a plus. </li><li>Must have knowledge of plant operating areas and have good communication skills in dealing with Sales, Customer Service, Production Control, Manufacturing and Quality departments. </li></ul> <p>ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Calling carriers to schedule pickups daily. </li><li>Making sound judgement calls on pickup schedules. </li><li>Precision work, adhering to and achieving accuracy in all paperwork. The standard is "no mistakes" on Bills of Lading, and other shipping paperwork. </li><li>Dealing with people in various departments including Sales, Accounting, Manufacturing and Quality requires strong interpersonal skills. </li><li>Also required is directing and planning activities of others to meet daily ship schedules. </li><li>Producing Bills of Lading and other shipping documents, financial statements, comprehensive workflow methods and procedures; technical manuals, and applying information correctly to the job. </li><li>Completes the internal paperwork by entering computer data, filing paperwork and preparing reports. </li><li>Assist with investigation of customer complaints. </li></ul> <p>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Reading </li><li>Math </li><li>Computer </li><li>Scheduling </li><li>People Skills </li><li>Communication </li></ul> <p>GENERAL EXPECTATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrate effective communications (verbal, written) skills </li><li>Proficient with MS Office Word and Excel </li><li>Maintain discretion when working with confidential and proprietary information </li><li>Strict adherence to Company safety policies and procedures </li><li>Conform to all aspects of OFS' "Standards of Conduct" document </li></ul>
