The role also requires the ability to build and orchestrate multi-step agents that can reason, retrieve, process, and interact with humans or tools to complete engineering-related tasks autonomously or semi-autonomously.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Develop AI workflows using modern agentic frameworks to automate data extraction, document analysis, and context-aware interpretation of technical content </li><li>Integrate LLMs with tools (retrievers, calculators, APIs, databases) in an orchestrated fashion to mimic real-world engineering assistant behaviors </li><li>Build pipelines for extracting and structuring data from PDFs, CAD exports, spreadsheets, emails, and engineering specifications </li><li>Implement intelligent memory, chaining, and feedback mechanisms to enable contextual awareness and continuous learning </li><li>Collaborate with engineers, software developers, and product leads to align AI outputs with engineering workflows and software systems </li><li>Monitor agent performance, handle edge cases, and continuously improve system reliability </li><li>Stay up to date on open-source tooling and foundation model APIs to ensure the best available technology is being used </li></ul> <p>Supervisory Responsibilities: N/A</p>
