We organize volunteer opportunities, company activities, and all-employee meetings to show we value our employees and the community around us!</p> <p>JOB SUMMARY: Test Tech must be able to efficiently, and accurately operate the test equipment, accomplish minor troubleshooting of both the test equipment (external fixture diagnosis), and the failed boards; follow complicated test procedures, possibly involving use of equipment such as o-scopes, functional or signal generators, frequency counters, etc.; follow schematics; operate with very little supervision. The tester must insure a quality test by understanding the equipment and the test procedure and never deviating from the acceptable standard. Some basic troubleshooting skills will be necessary to solve routine testing problems.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.)</p> <ul> <li>Ability to understand, and follow complicated test/repair procedures </li><li>Able to configure Test setup from Test Procedures </li><li>Ability to perform mathematical computations (Ohms Law calculations, tolerance analysis) </li><li>Basic troubleshooting skills for PCB assembly </li><li>Basic troubleshooting skills for external items of Functional Tester </li><li>Test, Diagnose and repair electronic assemblies. </li><li>Document findings and report repetitive/recurring failures. </li><li>Familiarize and certify on test equipment for all returned electronic assemblies. </li><li>Must have excellent attention to detail and juggle multiple priorities </li><li>Trained in, and use, proper ESD handling techniques </li><li>Use training knowledge to think independently </li><li>Follow routers and ISO instructions specifically </li><li>Stand for long periods of time; Move about rapidly </li><li>Handle a flexible work load </li><li>Lift and carry as required </li><li>Insure proper quality of work </li><li>Other duties as directed by management/supervision </li><li>Must be courteous and respectful of all non-departmental and departmental employees </li><li>Must have a positive attitude and accept change quickly </li></ul> <p>OTHER FUNCTIONS</p> <ul> <li>Trained in, use, and enforce use of proper ESD handling </li><li>Abide by all company policies and procedures </li><li>Use training knowledge to think independently </li><li>Follow ISO instructions for the Engineering Department </li><li>Handle a flexible work load </li><li>Insure proper quality of work </li><li>Must be courteous and respectful of all non-departmental and departmental employees </li><li>Must have a positive attitude and accept change quickly </li><li>May be assigned other duties that will directly or indirectly support the Engineering and/or Operations department </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Excellent attendance </li><li>Willingness to learn; attention to detail </li><li>Ability to work quickly and effectively without close supervision </li></ul> <p>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Previous electronic circuit board assembly experience </li><li>Extensive electronics/test experience </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The employee is regularly required to sit; use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects, talk, hear, and see. The environment is fast-paced; time pressured, and requires accuracy. The employee will regularly multi-task between projects, be required to move throughout the office building, production area, and effectively communicate.
