<p>LOAN CLOSER SYNDICATIONS & PARTICIPATIONS WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY? The Loan Closer - Syndications and Participations is responsible for managing and coordinating the closing process of complex syndicated and participated loan transactions. This role ensures all aspects of the closing process comply with internal policies, credit approvals, legal requirements, and syndication terms. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in commercial loan documentation, excellent organizational skills, and a strong understanding of agency and participant roles in multi-lender structures. WHAT WILL YOU DO? Review and interpret loan approvals, credit agreements, and legal documentation for syndicated and participated loans Coordinate closing activities with internal stakeholders (e.g., relationship managers, Underwriters, credit analysts, legal, operations) and external parties (e.g., agent banks, law firms, participants). Ensure compliance with credit terms, regulatory requirements, and internal closing procedures Draft, review, or interpret closing checklists, closing statements, and funds flow summaries. Oversee the documentation and booking of agency and participant records accurately in the systems Manage the Clear to Close process to ensure all requirements are met, prior to closing Serve as the primary contact during the closing process for both internal departments and external parties such as participating banks and legal counsel. Ensure proper execution and safekeeping of legal and collateral documentation Work with loan servicing teams to transition closed deals for ongoing administration, monitoring, and reporting Track and report closing timelines, exceptions, and workflow bottlenecks; assist with post-closing audits or quality control reviews WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED Required Qualifications<em> Bachelor's Degree or equivalent Minimum 5 years experience in Commercial Banking required. Minimum 3 years experience with closing syndicated or participated loans required. Proficiency with Syndtrak or similar is preferred. Additional Qualifications Project Management skills, ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing priorities Organizational and time management skills Recommended experience: Prior closing experience, credit experience or understanding of experience Understanding of bank policies and procedures relating to the satisfaction of loan closing conditions, documents, and services WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU? Compensation Starting base salary: $78,970 - $126,140 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
