We're united by purpose, inspired by you.</p> <p>About the Team</p> <p>UKG is seeking a Principal, Cybersecurity Awareness Specialist, to join its Global Security department under our Security Business Operations team. This team promotes the integration and execution of security practices and measures across the organization and this role will be integral to further driving our security culture forward.</p> <p>About the Role</p> <p>The Principal, Cybersecurity Awareness Specialist, will lead the development, implementation, and management of comprehensive security awareness programs and communication strategies. This role is pivotal in educating employees about security best practices, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance. Focusing on reducing human risk through targeted education and engagement initiatives, this role requires a proactive, creative, and communicative individual who can manage multiple projects and effectively convey security concepts to a diverse audience.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Lead the design and delivery of advanced security awareness training programs for employees at all levels. </li><li>Design, implement, and manage phishing and smishing simulations and testing campaigns to improve employee awareness and response to these threats. </li><li>Develop, collaborate and execute strategic communication plans to promote a security culture across the organization. </li><li>Collaborate with senior leadership and various departments to identify training needs and tailor programs; accordingly, as well as manage the specialized internal training requirements for the security team. </li><li>Evaluate the effectiveness of security awareness initiatives and implement improvements based on feedback and metrics. </li><li>Provide regular reporting to senior leadership on the effectiveness of the program and recommendations for program improvements. </li><li>Stay abreast of the latest security trends, threats, and technologies to ensure training and awareness content is current and relevant. </li><li>Organize and oversee security awareness events, workshops, webinars, interactive training courses, and campaigns. </li><li>Develop engaging and informative security awareness content, including articles, newsletters, and training materials. </li><li>Provide expert guidance and support to employees on security-related issues and inquiries. </li><li>Maintain and enhance security awareness materials and resources. </li></ul> <p>About You</p> <p>Basic Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>8-10+ years of experience developing and delivering security awareness training programs and content. </li><li>8-10+ years of experience with phishing tools and Learning Management Systems (LMS) </li><li>Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Communications, Education, Instructional Design, or a related field. </li><li>Exceptional communication and presentation skills. </li><li>Deep understanding of security principles, threats, and best practices. </li><li>Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. </li><li>Proficiency in using various communication tools and platforms. </li><li>Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously and meet deadlines. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Communications, Education, Instructional Design, or a related field. </li><li>A professional certification in cybersecurity or security awareness (e.g., SSAP, CISSP, CISM) is highly desirable. </li></ul> <p>Where we're going</p> <p>UKG is on the cusp of something truly special. This position is also eligible for a short-term incentive and a long-term incentive as part of total compensation.
