<p>Full Time (80 hours/pay period)</p> <p>Days</p> <p>Rotating days M-Sat depending on event scheduling</p> <p>General Summary</p> <p>Performs routine screening and diagnostic mammography procedures, or routine screening and at least two other modalities such as x-ray, EKG or bone densitometry, or performs screening mammography in a mobile environment according to established practices and procedures.</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Performs routine screening and diagnostic mammography procedures, or routine screening and at least two other modalities such as x-ray, EKG or bone densitometry, or performs screening mammography in a mobile environment. Obtains patient history, explains routine procedures and addresses patient concerns. If performing bone densitometry exams, positions patients safely while performing scans of the spine, hip and/or forearm. </li><li>Under the direction of a Team Leader, is responsible for assisting in the training of other technologists, certifying that techs meet competencies. </li><li>Maintains department quality assurance programs. </li><li>Positions patients safely and comfortably and explains basic procedures. </li><li>Prepares and maintains written documentation as required by the profession and the department. </li><li>Schedules cases to coordinate with other patient examinations. </li><li>Prepares, maintains and scans appropriate documentation required by the department. </li></ul> <p>Required for All Jobs:</p> <ul> <li>Performs other related duties as identified. </li><li>WellSpan Health has adopted and implemented a compliance program to support WellSpan's values and standards for professionalism, integrity, and ethics.
