<p>What You Will Do at ODM:</p> <p>Office: Fiscal Operations</p> <p>Bureau: Accounting</p> <p>Classification: Senior Financial Analyst (20087714)</p> <p>Job Overview:</p> <p>As the Senior Financial Analyst of the Encumbering/Sister State Agency Unit, duties you will perform include:</p> <ul> <li>Leads and coaches Financial Analysts, including in the review and approval of accounts payable transactions </li><li>Acts as backup to the Supplier/Provider Unit Sr. Financial Analyst in reviewing and approving vouchers. </li><li>Reconciliations for various processes within the unit related to agency payment transactions </li><li>Establish and execute work procedures and provide guidance and training to financial analyst staff </li><li>Review and approve transactions associated with accounts payable including creating and/or reviewing vouchers for payment </li><li>Assist in the approval of Medicaid provider payment files </li><li>Create agency general ledger files and submit through the state's accounting system </li><li>Create, amend, monitor and terminate agency payment requisitions and purchase orders </li><li>Oversee financial issue resolution </li></ul> <p>42 mos. exp. or 42 mos. trg. in accounting &/or finance to include an advanced level of experience in spreadsheet software.</p> <ul> <li>Or completion of undergraduate core program in business administration, accounting, finance or related field; 18 mos. exp. or 18 mos. trg. in accounting &/or finance to include an advanced level of experience in spreadsheet software. </li><li>Or completion of graduate core program in business administration, accounting, finance or related field; 6 mos. exp. or 6 mos. trg. in accounting &/or finance to include an advanced level of experience in spreadsheet software. </li><li>Or 12 mos. exp. as Financial Analyst, 66562. </li><li>Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.
