<p>Electrical Engineering Team Supervisor</p> <p>Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Team Supervisor to lead an engineering team in designing and developing sub-transmission systems, substations, switching stations, and complex power distribution systems for commercial and industrial clients.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Design sub-transmission systems, substations, switching stations, and power distribution systems. </li><li>Lead an engineering team in developing specifications, calculations, design drawings, and bills of materials. </li><li>Ensure project deliverables meet customer standards and industry codes. </li><li>Develop design alternatives, perform engineering calculations, and create estimates. </li><li>Act as the Owner's Engineer during project execution, addressing RFIs. </li><li>Provide technical input for cost estimates and schedules. </li><li>Serve as the main point of contact for customers. </li><li>Conduct site surveys and participate in pre-construction job-walks. </li><li>Maintain knowledge of power system modeling and protection schemes. </li><li>Mentor junior engineers. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (power systems emphasis preferred) </li><li>PE License required </li><li>8+ years of experience in the electric utility industry </li><li>Leadership capabilities and ability to motivate and guide a team </li><li>Expert knowledge of medium voltage electrical substations and distribution systems </li><li>Expertise in power system analysis, distribution system modeling, and protective device coordination </li><li>Experience with drawings, specifications, and technical documentation </li><li>Ability to prepare and maintain construction project schedules </li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High voltage and medium voltage experience </li><li>Arc flash studies </li><li>One line and three line diagrams </li><li>Experience with distribution, transmission line, and substation projects </li></ul> <p>Work Environment:</p> <ul> <li>Team of 35 engineers, typically split into teams of 10 </li><li>Up to 25% travel to client sites outside Colorado </li><li>Office work on Tuesdays and Wednesdays </li></ul> <p>Why You Should Be Interested:</p> <ul> <li>Support Federal Government and local municipalities </li><li>Extremely stable: 50-year contracts </li><li>Hybrid schedule: Tuesday and Wednesday in office </li><li>All travel is paid </li><li>Perform cradle-to-grave on all projects </li><li>Short Term Incentive Program (STIP) </li><li>Bi-weekly pay </li><li>PTO accrual basis </li><li>Excellent benefits package including health, dental, life insurance, 401(k), profit sharing, Paid Time Off, and holidays </li></ul> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $138000.00 - $170000.00/yr.</p> <p>We offer an excellent benefits package that includes medical insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, 401k with company contribution, paid time off and paid holidays.</p> <p>Workplace Type</p> <p>This is a hybrid position in Greenwood Village,CO.</p> <p>Application Deadline</p> <p>This position is anticipated to close on May 12, 2025.</p> <p>About Actalent</p> <p>Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
