<p>Description</p> <p>Position at Sumitomo Electric Lightwave Corp.</p> <p>The Quality & Industrial Engineer has responsibilities that touch all aspects of manufacturing and distribution including procurement, manufacturing, service, shipping and pass through sales. Frequent activities include developing ISO/TL 90000 compliant processes and procedures, developing product quality plans, participating in cross-functional teams, supporting operations on quality related issues, advocating for improvement initiatives and performing internal audits.</p> <p>Job Duties will include:</p> <ul> <li>Create incoming, in process and finished goods test plans </li><li>Create Certificates of Analysis for outgoing product. </li><li>Promote and lead Kaizen activities and other quality improvement initiatives </li><li>Internal audits </li><li>Outgoing product and packaging and label audits </li><li>Supplier audits </li><li>Hosting third party product certification audit. </li><li>Develop and deliver training on Quality documents and procedures. </li><li>Participate in Cross functional product development and supplier management teams. </li><li>Review and approve documents </li><li>Data collection and report writing </li></ul> <p>Minimum Education and Experience Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor of Science Degree in a Technical Field, preferably engineering or a Physical Science. </li></ul> <p>Experience and Skills</p> <ul> <li>1 - 3 years in a role with applicable responsibilities </li><li>Quality Improvement Teams </li><li>ISO 9001 / TL 9000 Quality Management Systems </li><li>Internal Auditing </li><li>Supply Chain Management </li><li>Document Control </li><li>Training </li><li>Calibration systems </li><li>ESD protection </li><li>MS Office Applications, HTML, ASP, SQL and data collection software </li><li>ERP systems </li></ul> <p>Apply Apply Later</p>
